Limited Warranty Policy for OctaRug Products

OctaRug is proud to offer a one-year limited warranty that guarantees all OctaRug rugs sold will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The OctaRug warranty complements and does not reduce the rights and protections provided by applicable consumer laws.

If you encounter any issues with your OctaRug, please inform our team. We will do our best to resolve the issue and, if deemed necessary, offer a free replacement. This warranty is valid for a maximum period of one year from the date of delivery. This warranty is non-transferable and only extends to products sold on OctaRug.com.

This warranty is valid only when the products are used for their intended purpose and exhibit normal use. The warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from improper care, negligence, accidents, abnormal use, or modifications.

When does my warranty coverage start? The warranty coverage begins on the day the product is delivered.

How can I file a warranty claim? To file a warranty claim due to a defect, simply email us at support@octarug.com with at least 3 images* of the rug. We also require proof of the original purchase from OctaRug.com. *Additional images may be required depending on the nature of the defect.

What are the full terms and conditions of the warranty? OctaRug guarantees (to the original purchaser) that our EVA rugs will be free from any defects in material or workmanship that would prevent our rugs from providing satisfactory service for a period of one year from the date of delivery. Please note that the warranty set forth in these terms does not limit or otherwise affect the rights you may have regarding defective rugs under applicable law.

If the rug is not in compliance with the warranties contained herein under normal use conditions during the warranty period or the applicable period provided by applicable consumer laws, OctaRug will repair, refund, or replace the non-conforming rug at no additional cost to the customer.

This warranty does not apply to defects first notified to OctaRug in writing more than one year after delivery to the original purchaser. If OctaRug replaces your rug under this limited warranty, the remaining part of the warranty period will be based on the original purchase date. As mentioned previously, this does not limit or affect the legal rights you may be entitled to return defective rugs outside of this period.

Subject to any rights recognized by applicable law, the customer's exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to the actual cost of repair or replacement of the rug. OctaRug's total liability will not exceed the invoice amount to the original purchaser.

If replacement is warranted, OctaRug will provide a rug of equal value should the identical rug not be available. OctaRug is not responsible for personal injury, loss or damage to property, removal or movement of furnishings, or any incidental or consequential damages or costs associated with the repair or replacement.

This limited warranty does not specifically include any damage to the rug caused by normal or extraordinary wear, commercial use, improper maintenance, or any damage caused by factors not inherent in the rug at the time of purchase. For this purpose, refer to the following overview of abnormal wear and accidents. Material and workmanship defects will be determined by an authorized OctaRug inspector.

This is a limited warranty and contains specific exclusions and limitations.

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions Extended warranties on OctaRug rugs are intended for the protection of the initial purchaser and are not transferable to any other party.

This warranty applies only to indoor rugs placed indoors. This warranty will not cover any condition resulting from problems caused by wetting or moisture persistence. It does not cover tears, burns, burns caused by footwear or otherwise, cigarette burns, cuts, rips, or other damages, deterioration, stains, loss of color or appearance caused by abuse, misuse, or inadequate maintenance.

Abnormal wear and accidents: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, slips, or accidents, such as stains, smudges, burns, flooding, cuts, or spills; damage caused by pets; footwear, or damage caused by inadequate cleaning methods and materials. It does not cover products used on stairs, ramps, or any area regularly subject to wheeled or rolling devices.

Changes in rug color: This warranty does not cover changes in rug color resulting from external causes, such as discoloration due to spills of household chemicals and other non-food or beverage substances.

Differences in color variations: We do not cover minor and normal differences in color and texture from specification samples or website images.

Shading or pile pressure: We are not responsible for shading or pile pressure that may affect the pile texture due to variable weight and traffic on or over the rug surface during use. We are not responsible for damage caused by the failure to use protective pads under wheeled chairs.

Creases and rolling: Fold marks may appear during shipping but usually disappear with vacuuming or by leaving the rug in the sun for 30 minutes. EVA rugs should not be rolled; the warranty does not cover damage resulting from rolling. Rolling the rug may compromise its usability and durability. During shipping, rugs are not folded to avoid structural damage.

Use of topical treatments: The warranty will be void if topical treatments are used. Topical treatments include but are not limited to, any aftermarket dirt, stain, or insect repellents.

Our EVA rugs are stain-resistant and durable, but no rug is impervious to everything. Routine care and cleaning are essential to maintain the long-term durability and appearance of the rug.
